- George Gamkrelidze is a graduate of Tbilisi State University, the Commerce and Marketing Department and he is a master of economy. In 2008 he undertook an internship at the Sejm of the Republic of Poland organized under the auspices of the Speaker of the Sejm, in cooperation with the University of Warsaw. He is an alumni of the research program for Young Researchers funded by the Polish Government. Thus in 2006-2007 in the framework of the mentioned above program he was a researcher at the University of Gdansk, Faculty of Social Sciences, Institute of Political Sciences. He is a member of the Team Europe Georgia which gathers professionals from Georgian government and NGOs and is eligible to conduct lectures on European subjects. He is actively involved in fields which are related to integration of Georgia in NATO and protection of democracy. In the mission of OSCE he observed elections in Ukraine, Tajikistan, Moldova and Kyrgyzstan. Currently he works for the organization “new Generation – new Initiative” as a researcher and analyst.
